Two interested parties are already at the table. Both have been aggressively accumulating shares around current levels and now control a combined 26% stake. While management initially appeared reluctant to engage, the tone has shifted in recent weeks. The company halted its planned buyback, and rumors suggest the board has since instructed its advisors to explore interest from additional potential bidders.
There’s also chatter that the already-present interested parties may team up, which would further increase pressure on management.
